About Gökçen Atamgüç

Gökçen Atamgüç is an interior architect and origami artist. She uses two simple materials – paper and glue, and origami art technique that involves different paper foldings – to make three dimensional paper artworks.
Gökçen Atamgüç started her professional career as an interior architect in 2002. She founded her own company, GA by GA, back in 2010, through which she offers her own creative and original works, by bringing a different perspective to the art of origami where she combines her own imagination and lines. She has been introducing origami to people in her workshop classes at Istanbul Toy Museum since 2010.
Gökçen Atamgüç is the author of the book titled “Kağıt Kıvrımlarını Zihin İzlerken (As the Mind Follows Paper Folds)”, published in 2017.
